📦 General Guidelines
• Please keep paper products dry
• Remove all packaging materials from boxes
• Sorted recyclables are accepted free of charge at the Recycle Center
• Commingled loads (mixed recyclables) incur a $25/ton fee
✅ What You Can Recycle
- Cardboard-cereal boxes, shoe boxes, corrugated boxes (NO WAXED CARDBOARD)
- Paper-Magazines, catalogs, newspapers, phone books, paperback books, office paper, junk mail, envelopes (no paper plates/cups)
- Tin Cans– Includes empty aerosol cans (rinse: labels optional)
- Aluminum– Food and beverage containers, foil, pie tins, etc. (must be food free)
- Plastics-Food/Beverage containers, soap/laundry bottles (rinse and replace lid) NO Styrofoam #6, oil or hazardous waste containers, laundry baskets, storage totes or plastic bags.
- Glass-Any color, see through food or beverage containers (remove lid)
🚫 Items Not Accepted
• Syringes, diapers, plastic toys
• Shrink wrap, film wrap
• Hardcover books
• Tissues, paper towels, foam/paper plates
• Styrofoam
• Window/mirror glass, light bulbs
• Ceramics, pottery, drinking glasses, ovenware
• Laundry baskets, storage totes, oil containers
• Clothing and shoes
🖥️ Other Recyclables (Drop-Off Only)
TV’s and Monitors-$10-30 depending on screen size: CPU’s free for residents
Electronics-No Charge for residents
Untreated Wood/Pallets– $25 per ton
Tires-Fee by size/type
Oil & Oil Filters-Free, must be kept separate
Batteries-Accepted free of charge in Office
Light Bulbs-Accepted free from residents/Businesses are managed for a fee, per EPA
Hazardous Materials-Call for disposal information
Metal-Free
