Reminder- we will close the yard waste area when there is inclement weather. What parameters do we use to make this decision? We go by our attendant and his comfort level. If the attendant feels it is unsafe to be here, we close. Also- if there are weather warnings such as- extreme heat warning, Tornado warning, Thunderstorm Warning, High Wind Warning, etc. or if there is a projected time when a storm with hit during the hours the yard waste area is scheduled to be open.
