January 2026- We have a large amount of screened compost ready for spring planting. Compost works as a soil amendment enriching your soil. Compost is made out of the leaves and grass clipping disposed of at our yard waste site. We make no claims to the success of utilizing our compost. You can add compost in both the Spring and Fall seasons, so your yard and garden are ready for planting.
Compost is free. You can self-load using a shovel out of our pile located in the Southwest corner of the yard waste area or if you need a larger quantity-we can load your pickup or trailer for a fee of $10 a scoop- the fee is for the loading service, and the compost is free. We do need you to complete a waiver if you want us to load you. Call ahead if you need a larger quantity. Loading hours are 7:30 am to 3:15 during our regular weekday hours.
Compost is available on a first come first serve basis- when it is gone it is gone so don’t hesitate if you want some.
