April 1-The yard waste area is open April 1-October 31 during our regular hours (Monday-Friday) 7:30 am to 4 pm and also Monday and Wednesday evenings until 7 pm and Saturday 9 am to 3 pm- weather permitting. We will not be open on holidays. HOURS MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE!
Weather closures will occur if Buena Vista County is under a severe weather warning- including thunderstorms and tornados. Heavy rain or excessive wind days will also cause us to close the yard waste area. The safety of our staff and customers is most important.
Remember that you need to be unloaded prior to closing time and only grass, leaves, and sticks are allowed in the yard waste area. Wood waste and lumber are not allowed in the yard waste or brush. Failure to follow the rules will result in closing the area.
